30-minute
"Fit" Conversation
Let's connect to see if we are a good fit. You've got to feel comfortable with me and my style, and I've got to know what you're hoping to gain to see if my skillset can help you achieve that. I can't wait to meet you!
(This is free, by the way)
Initial Assessment
Coaching or
Counseling
The first time we meet might seem a little "question-heavy" on my part. After all, I've got a lot to catch up on if I'm to figure out what it's like to be you. This visit will take longer than usual (~90 minutes) to go over history, previous experiences, assessments, and goals.
$175 per session
Recurring Sessions
After the clinical assessment, we will meet regularly for ~50 minutes. We will often schedule your next appointment during our session, but if we missed it or you need to reschedule, you can do this from the client portal and choose the "psychotherapy" session.
$150 per session
EMDR Sessions
EMDR, otherwise known as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a highly effective treatment for many different issues but widely recognized for both single event and complex trauma. Additionally, it is also helpful for addressing core negative beliefs that may be causing anxiety, depression, phobias, and more. Sessions can take between 75-90 minutes.
$150-175 per session
Please note: I offer a limited number of sliding scale appointments through Open Path Psychotherapy Collective. If you feel that a lower fee would provide access to counseling you otherwise could not afford, please visit them here: https://openpathcollective.org/
Payment Methods
I accept a variety of payment methods, including cash, credit, debit, or FSA/HSA cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and more through the client portal.

Insurance Info
I am currently accepting Aetna, BCBS, and United Healthcare as an in-network provider.
If your insurance is not included in the list above, I am considered out-of-network and will provide a superbill containing the required diagnostic details of our session. This allows you to seek reimbursement from your insurance company for the cost of therapy. Please check with your insurance company for information and instructions on seeking reimbursement prior to starting therapy. Insurance companies have different rules and requirements for out-of-network billing, and reimbursement policies.

If you prefer not to handle the reimbursement process yourself, you may be interested in Thrizer. Thrizer is a payment platform built to help clients automatically tap into their out-of-network benefits and save on therapy upfront. Thrizer automatically submits insurance claims for clients after every session. From there, Thrizer manages the claims end-to-end so that you don’t have to worry about manually submitting superbills or getting on calls with insurance. The best part? Thrizer allows you to only pay the co-pay portion for sessions, while Thrizer covers the rest of your fee and waits for reimbursement on their behalf. Thrizer charges a small fee per session – but no additional monthly fees or contracts. If you are interested in learning more, please check them out here.

If you want to use your insurance benefits to pay for out-of-network counseling, I am happy to check your benefits to let you know what you might pay as a deductible, copay, and ongoing sessions. You are also entitled to a good faith estimate for the cost of counseling. Please call or email for help with either of these.
